I was the victim of a scam.
This illustration is the result of a “sad” situation, but it serves to show that we can find something beautiful in everything…
I received an email from an “independent author” with a great job offer. He had the story, the page layout, a contract, and a 60%-40% payment proposal.
So I accepted…
I worked for 10 days and delivered the sketches. He sent me the bank transfer receipt (which I later discovered was fake), and the next day his “bank” contacted me to request a deposit so that the payment could be released.

That’s when I found out it was a scam…
It was a very sad day for me, but I decided to continue the illustrations I had already created for my portfolio. And the result was adorable. 🐝
